Thanks for sharing this✨. Honestly, at a crossroads myself and just being thinking of the actions to take …to act fast, thanks for reminding me to pause.
Would also like to add, being at a crossroads and deciding to take the path of growth is risky. And Ben Carson gave 4 simple questions he asks himself whenever he faces a hard decision or a risky situation in his book “Take the Risk”
1. What is the best thing that can happen if I do this?
2. What is the worst thing that can happen if I do this?
3. What is the best thing that can happen if I don’t do it?
4. What is the worst thing that can happen if I don’t do it
This is so beautiful to read, many of the words talked directly to me to the point of mentioning my age, regardless, with or without the degree, I will be 40 and at a cross road. Thank you Ayo
I’m always in awe when I see how you articulate your words. And this one can at the right time.
All I can say is thank you. I’ll take a PAUSE and actually re-evaluate things. I believe it’s better to move with confidence than with “fear” that I’ve been moving with since.
Thank you so much for this wonderful piece. Recently, I’ve been so down, not knowing what to do or which direction to take that I started feeling I may have a serious problem and I don’t know the root cause.
It has affected my self esteem and confidence. I have cried about it a lot also.
After reading this, I feel I might actually know what to do and which way to go for the first time in a long while.
So what you said about picking a skill and intentionally improving on it for 90days while publicly documenting it, that’s exactly what I need to do. But my issue is that I’m worried I won’t be consistent and then if I’m not consistent, I’ll start losing faith in myself and go about thinking what people will say about my inconsistency, then I’ll feel like a failure and completely stop.
This is the loop I have been in my 20s.
How do you suggest I overcome this? How do I get out of my comfort zone and remain there?
How do I build discipline? I know it might be easy for others but it’s been really difficult for me.
Consider finding an accountability partner—someone who’s also committed to choosing a skill and intentionally improving it for 90 days while documenting their progress publicly. There is real greatness in you; you just need to draw it out. The fact that you can put your thoughts into writing already proves it, because articulation is divine power. Find that accountability partner.
During my quiet time early this morning, you came to mind, and I felt prompted to reach out to you here. Were you able to find an accountability partner to support you as you begin learning what you set out to learn?
I also thought that if finding an accountability partner has been difficult, you might consider creating a platform for one. You could start by building it for yourself and then expand it for others. In the process of learning how to build such a platform, you would gain valuable skills and insights. Sometimes, what you consider a roadblock to achieving your goal may actually be the very means to creating solutions—by first solving the problem yourself. And the beautiful thing is that every resource you need to build such a platform is already available to you. It could even serve as a meaningful side project: building something first for you, and eventually for others as well.

Thread like this brings an imagery of a Glorious Nigeria to my mind.
We're literally creating and passing through our own 'Age Of Enlightenment' and I'm really really glad to be a part of this history.
The future is looking terrific already, and brick by brick, we shall build a Nigeria of our dream.
Thanks for dropping this chief. Respect!

Hello! Thanks for reaching out. No, I haven’t found one and it’s really been bugging me that I can’t find one.
Creating a platform for one, that is such an amazing idea. I’ll do my research on how to do that and then see how it goes.
Thank you so much, I truly appreciate.
